 I hear that it is always a blessing to see another year. However, I would like to add that it may not be a blessing for anyone other than to ourselves if we are NOT doing what we can to also enrich the lives of others. Time is much too precious and far too short to waste it on trying to figure out which perfume is the the sweetest, which fashion is the latest, and which vehicle is the most prestigious.
Truly, life has to be more than just the accumulation of stuff and the over-indulgence in self-gratification. As I sit and write these very words of truth, there is a child somewhere fighting for their life while someone else is arguing at a fast food cashier for not putting ketchup on their burger. While a family of five have been evicted from their home, a clerk at a bowling alley is being cussed out by a patron whose bowling lane wasn't turned on fast enough. While someone else just found out that they have terminal cancer, someone at a nearby church is fighting over a parking space. I could go on and on about the husbands and wives that constantly bicker over which one left the top off of a $2.00 tube of toothpaste or the inlaws that hate the son-in-law or daughter in-law after fifteen years of marriage and three grandchildren later. Without much effort we always can find something worthless to fight about. For 2011 how about seeking something worth while to care about. With this new attitude I'm sure it won't take long before we find someone who could benefit from an extra smile, a hug, or a helping hand that only you can deliver. Let's think a lot bigger this year and let's not look for change but rather let's be the change. Happy New Year from the team at Yahshua University. I totally agree with this, we as humans focus on things that have no value or meaning at the end of the day. LIfe is just too short.

I would like to say we can alway find something wrong with each other if we look hard enough but it goes back to the scripture Matthew 7 judge not, that you be not judged. We can alway find somthing to complain about but there are real issues going on in the world in which we live and people who lives are lost without the word of Yah so be the positive instead of the negative and change will come. This is a new year and do something positive to change someone life in 2011 by showing them the way to the light and the truth which is Yahshua the messiah Love to all who have the truth and for those who will find it in 2011.

The world which Yahweh Eliohim created got transformed in a Babylon, got transformed into a Sodom and Gomorrah. The professing Christians enter into their churches and have to hire security guards to watch over their "blessings" while they up the house getting their praise on. They don't take the time to let those who live in the communities surrounding their churches on how they received their blessings. These Christians would rather live the "if you got it, flaunt it" glamourous life. I use the word glamourous in guarded terms. The truth as Sister Tabatha says is Yahshua. Have to literally and figuratively walk lightfooted, the Philistines adorned with clerical collars have their roadside bombs and IED's to throw those who seek truth off the path.

I was searching the web on this snow day. I am here with my kids and I love to read the read the word. I came across your site and although I agree with most of it, I am curious because there are 2 places in your site where you refer to Christmas and New Years, you wrote Happy New Year.
