Hello Sisters of Yahshua University. My name is Sister Chesli and I would like to first thank everyone for allowing me to be a part of such a warm and loving sisterhood. A little about myself, I am 39 years old, a full time student, I home school my daughter, I have two businesses with my husband and I also exercise 3-4 times a week along with meditate daily. I have been married for 12 years and have such a wonderful husband Gregory Lesesne and an amazing daughter La’Niyah Lesesne who is 8 years old. I enjoy spending every moment that I possibly can with my family. So with that being said I want to be here as long as YAH allows. Another way of assuring that is to take my health seriously. I am a Vegan and have been for 1 ½. A Vegan is a person who does not consume any animal products. Some people confuse Vegan and Vegetarian, as some vegetarians can eliminate a portion of meat and dairy while some can just eliminate dairy, but Veganism you eliminate it all. Since being vegan the feeling that I feel is indescribable as to the many changes my body has experienced since my transition. My doctor was astonished with my numbers. My cholesterol was well within range and I was no longer borderline obese. My skin had such a glow and I never looked back. I now have my 8 year old daughter which is also vegan who loves it and doesn’t miss a thing. I am looking forward to sharing ideas, recipes and helpful tips to take care of your temple. You only get one ladies! 1 Corithians 6:19-20.

I enjoyed reading your blog on the Vegan lifestyle and how just by changing our eating habits, and taking on more vegetables, and not consuming any animal product can have a great impact on our over all health. Our bodies are our temples 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and we should want to make sure we are doing all we can to live a healthy HalleluYah life. I am so glad you spoke on the difference of vegan vs vegetarian because so many people think both are the same and they are not so thank you for taking the time to explain the difference. I too feel that if we took a healthier approach to what we put into our temples, that Yahweh blessed us with, we would be more mindful of what we eat, and knowing that we are protecting our temples from disease, and illnesses we may face by not eating healthy for our temples. Yahweh gave us one temple so lets do all we can to protect and nourish it the best we know how. I look forward to more of the Vegan lifestyle and hope you are able to share some mouth watering recipes with the Yah-U sisterhood. Thank you again for sharing your testimony with healthy eating for our temples of Yah!

Sister Chesli - your commitment to healthy eating and “living” is something we all must adhere to. We can spend a lot of time on our spiritual diet while we neglect our physical diets. Romans 1:19-20 is clear “the physical reflects the spiritual”! I look forward to receiving more healthy recipes as well as your guidance and your support towards taking better care of my temple. If we are what we eat spiritually and physically; I can always do better! Thank you my sister and love and shalom in Yahweh our Elohim and his son, Yahshua the Messiah!

Sister Chesli - Thank you so much for sharing your tips on the Vegan Life Style and how to eat for health and life extension. It is so important that we take care of our body temple. We get so busy with every day life that we forget that our body needs a tune-up also. I am also interested in the Vegan Life Style and look forward to you sharing your tasty recipes. Exercise and meditation and just relaxing the body and your mind is also important. You are amazing. Thank you again and welcome to the Yah-U Sisterhood!

Shalom, Sister Chesli. Great article. I thank you for taking the time to share with the Yah Fam and Sisterhood your words of wisdom as you walk the road of Healthy Eating, while fighting the many food temptations that sneak up on you. I know that it takes real discipline to break years of "not-so-healthy eating habits." This is a struggle most of us have.
