Exodus Chapter 8
8:1And Yahweh spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
8:2And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
8:3And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
8:4And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
8:5And Yahweh spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
8:6And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
8:7And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.
8:8Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat Yahweh, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto Yahweh.
8:9And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
8:10And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto Yahweh our Elohim.
8:11And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
8:12And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto Yahweh because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.
8:13And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
8:14And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.
8:15But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as Yahweh had said.
8:16And Yahweh said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
8:17And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
8:18And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
8:19Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of Elohim: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as Yahweh had said.
8:20And Yahweh said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
8:21Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
8:22And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am Yahweh in the midst of the earth.
8:23And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.
8:24And Yahweh did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
8:25And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your Elohim in the land.
8:26And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Yahweh our Elohim: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
8:27We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Yahweh our Elohim, as he shall command us.
8:28And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to Yahweh your Elohim in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.
8:29And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat Yahweh that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Yahweh.
8:30And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated Yahweh.
8:31And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
8:32And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
8:1And Yahweh spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
8:2And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

8:32And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
Joshua Chapter 8
8:1And Yahweh said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:
8:2And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.
8:3So Joshua arose, and all the people of war, to go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night.
8:4And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city: go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready:
8:5And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them,
8:6(For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them.
8:7Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for Yahweh your Elohim will deliver it into your hand.
8:8And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of Yahweh shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.
8:9Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.
8:10And Joshua rose up early in the morning, and numbered the people, and went up, he and the elders of Israel, before the people to Ai.
8:11And all the people, even the people of war that were with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now there was a valley between them and Ai.
8:12And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city.
8:13And when they had set the people, even all the host that was on the north of the city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that night into the midst of the valley.
8:14And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.
8:15And Joshua and all Israel made as if they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness.
8:16And all the people that were in Ai were called together to pursue after them: and they pursued after Joshua, and were drawn away from the city.
8:17And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel, that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel.
8:18And Yahweh said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city.
8:19And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire.
8:20And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
8:21And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had taken the city, and that the smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai.
8:22And the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
8:23And the king of Ai they took alive, and brought him to Joshua.
8:24And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword.
8:25And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.
8:26For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
8:27Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel took for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of Yahweh which he commanded Joshua.
8:28And Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an heap for ever, even a desolation unto this day.
8:29And the king of Ai he hanged on a tree until eventide: and as soon as the sun was down, Joshua commanded that they should take his carcase down from the tree, and cast it at the entering of the gate of the city, and raise thereon a great heap of stones, that remaineth unto this day.
8:30Then Joshua built an altar unto Yahweh Elohim of Israel in mount Ebal,
8:31As Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto Yahweh, and sacrificed peace offerings.
8:32And he wrote there upon the stones a copy of the law of Moses, which he wrote in the presence of the children of Israel.
8:33And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, as well the stranger, as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of Yahweh had commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
8:34And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law.
8:35There was not a word of all that Moses commanded, which Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers that were conversant among them.

John Chapter 8
8:1Yahshua went unto the mount of Olives.
8:2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
8:3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
8:4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
8:5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
8:6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Yahshua stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
8:7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8:8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
8:9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Yahshua was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
8:10When Yahshua had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
8:11She said, No man, Master. And Yahshua said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
8:12Then spake Yahshua again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
8:13The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
8:14Yahshua answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
8:15Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
8:16And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
8:17It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
8:18I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
8:19Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Yahshua answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
8:20These words spake Yahshua in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
8:21Then said Yahshua again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
8:22Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come?
8:23And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
8:24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
8:25Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Yahshua saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
8:26I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
8:27They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
8:28Then said Yahshua unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
8:29And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
8:30As he spake these words, many believed on him.
8:31Then said Yahshua to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
8:32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
8:33They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
8:34Yahshua answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
8:35And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
8:36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
8:37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
8:38I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
8:39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Yahshua saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
8:40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of Elohim: this did not Abraham.
8:41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even Yahweh.
8:42Yahshua said unto them, If Yahweh were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from Elohim; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
8:43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
8:44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
8:45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
8:46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
8:47He that is of Yahweh heareth Yahweh's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of Yahweh.
8:48Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
8:49Yahshua answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
8:50And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
8:52Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
8:53Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
8:54Yahshua answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your Elohim:
8:55Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
8:56Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
8:57Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
8:58Yahshua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
8:59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Yahshua hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
8:31Then said Yahshua to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Acts Chapter 8
8:1And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the assembly which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
8:2And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
8:3As for Saul, he made havock of the assembly, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
8:4Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
8:5Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Messiah unto them.
8:6And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
8:7For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8:8And there was great joy in that city.
8:9But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
8:10To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of Elohim.
8:11And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
8:12But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of Yahweh, and the name of Yahshua Messiah, they were baptized, both men and women.
8:13Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
8:14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of Elohim, they sent unto them Peter and John:
8:15Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit:
8:16(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahshua.)
8:17Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
8:18And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money,
8:19Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.
8:20But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of Elohim may be purchased with money.
8:21Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of Elohim.
8:22Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray Elohim, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
8:23For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
8:24Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to Yahweh for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.
8:25And they, when they had testified and preached the word of Yahweh, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the good news in many villages of the Samaritans.
8:26And the angel of Yahweh spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
8:27And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
8:28Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
8:29Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.
8:30And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
8:31And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
8:32The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
8:33In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
8:34And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
8:35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Yahshua.
8:36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
8:37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Yahshua Messiah is the Son of Elohim.
8:38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
8:39And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of Yahweh caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
8:40But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
