Joshua Chapter 24
24:1And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before Elohim.
24:2And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other mighty ones.
24:3And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
24:4And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.
24:5I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.
24:6And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.
24:7And when they cried unto Yahweh, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.
24:8And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.
24:9Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:
24:10But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.
24:11And ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.
24:12And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.
24:13And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
24:14Now therefore fear Yahweh, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the mighty ones which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye Yahweh.
24:15And if it seem evil unto you to serve Yahweh, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.
24:16And the people answered and said, Far be it that we should forsake Yahweh, to serve other mighty ones;
24:17For Yahweh our Elohim, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
24:18And Yahweh drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve Yahweh; for he is our Elohim.
24:19And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Yahweh: for he is an holy Elohim; he is a jealous El; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
24:20If ye forsake Yahweh, and serve strange mighty ones, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
24:21And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve Yahweh.
24:22And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you Yahweh, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
24:23Now therefore put away, said he, the strange mighty ones which are among you, and incline your heart unto Yahweh Elohim of Israel.
24:24And the people said unto Joshua, Yahweh our Elohim will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
24:25So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
24:26And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of Elohim, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of Yahweh.
24:27And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of Yahweh which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your Elohim.
24:28So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance.
24:29And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Yahweh, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
24:30And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.
24:31And Israel served Yahweh all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of Yahweh, that he had done for Israel.
24:32And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
24:33And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim.

24:16And the people answered and said, Far be it that we should forsake Yahweh, to serve other mighty ones;
24:17For Yahweh our Elohim, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

24:21And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve Yahweh.
24:22And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you Yahweh, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
24:23Now therefore put away, said he, the strange mighty ones which are among you, and incline your heart unto Yahweh Elohim of Israel.
24:24And the people said unto Joshua, Yahweh our Elohim will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

Acts Chapter 24
24:1And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
24:2And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
24:3We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
24:4Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
24:5For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
24:6Who also hath gone about to profane the temple : whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
24:7But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
24:8Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
24:9And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
24:10Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
24:11Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
24:12And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
24:13Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
24:14But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Elohim of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
24:15And have hope toward Elohim, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
24:16And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward Elohim, and toward men.
24:17Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
24:18Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
24:19Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
24:20Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
24:21Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
24:22And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
24:23And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
24:24And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Messiah.
24:25And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
24:26He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
24:27But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
24:1And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

27:6And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.
27:7And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.
27:8Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.
27:9And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
27:10And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

27:19All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.
27:20And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
27:21In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before Yahweh: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
27:1And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

Exodus Chapter 28
28:1And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
28:2And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
28:3And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:4And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:5And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
28:6And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.
28:7It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.
28:8And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
28:9And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
28:10Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.
28:11With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.
28:12And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh upon his two shoulders for a memorial.
28:13And thou shalt make ouches of gold;
28:14And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the ouches.
28:15And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
28:16Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
28:17And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
28:18And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
28:19And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
28:20And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
28:21And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
28:22And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends of wreathen work of pure gold.
28:23And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
28:24And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.
28:25And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt fasten in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod before it.
28:26And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.
28:27And two other rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
28:28And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
28:29And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
28:30And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before Yahweh: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before Yahweh continually.
28:31And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
28:32And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
28:33And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
28:34A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.
28:35And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before Yahweh, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
28:36And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO YAHWEH.
28:37And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
28:38And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.
28:39And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
28:40And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
28:41And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
28:42And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
28:43And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.
28:13And thou shalt make ouches of gold;
