DAY 23
EXODUS + JOSHUA + JOHN + ACTS
Joshua Chapter 23
23:1And it came to pass a long time after that Yahweh had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.
23:2And Joshua called for all Israel, and for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age:
23:3And ye have seen all that Yahweh your Elohim hath done unto all these nations because of you; for Yahweh your Elohim is he that hath fought for you.
23:4Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
23:5And Yahweh your Elohim, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as Yahweh your Elohim hath promised unto you.
23:6Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
23:7That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their mighty ones, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:
23:8But cleave unto Yahweh your Elohim, as ye have done unto this day.
23:9For Yahweh hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.
23:10One man of you shall chase a thousand: for Yahweh your Elohim, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.
23:11Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love Yahweh your Elohim.
23:12Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
23:13Know for a certainty that Yahweh your Elohim will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Yahweh your Elohim hath given you.
23:14And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Yahweh your Elohim spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
23:15Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which Yahweh your Elohim promised you; so shall Yahweh bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which Yahweh your Elohim hath given you.
23:16When ye have transgressed the covenant of Yahweh your Elohim, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other mighty ones, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.

Acts Chapter 23
23:1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before Elohim until this day.
23:2And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
23:3Then said Paul unto him, Elohim shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
23:4And they that stood by said, Revilest thou Yahweh's high priest?
23:5Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
23:6But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
23:7And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided.
23:8For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
23:9And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against Yahweh.
23:10And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
23:11And the night following Yahweh stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
23:12And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
23:13And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
23:14And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
23:15Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
23:16And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
23:17Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
23:18So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
23:19Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
23:20And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
23:21But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
23:22So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
23:23And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
23:24And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
23:25And he wrote a letter after this manner:
23:26Claudius Lysias unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting.
23:27This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
23:28And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council:
23:29Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds.
23:30And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
23:31Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris.
23:32On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle:
23:33Who, when they came to Caesarea, and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
23:34And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
23:35I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.
23:1And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before Elohim until this day.

Exodus Chapter 25
25:1And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying,
25:2Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
25:3And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
25:4And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
25:5And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
25:6Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
25:7Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
25:8And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
25:9According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
25:10And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
25:11And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
25:12And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
25:13And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
25:14And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
25:15The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
25:16And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
25:17And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
25:18And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
25:19And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
25:20And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
25:21And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
25:22And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
25:23Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
25:24And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

25:28And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
25:29And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
25:30And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
25:31And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
25:32And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
25:33Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
25:34And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
25:35And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
25:36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
25:37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
25:38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
25:39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
25:40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Exodus Chapter 26
26:1Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.
26:2The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
26:3The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
26:4And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
26:5Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.
26:6And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
26:7And thou shalt make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle: eleven curtains shalt thou make.
26:8The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
26:9And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
26:10And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outmost in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
26:11And thou shalt make fifty taches of brass, and put the taches into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.
26:12And the remnant that remaineth of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remaineth, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.
26:13And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
26:14And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.
26:15And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood standing up.
26:16Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.
26:17Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
26:18And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south side southward.
26:19And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
26:20And for the second side of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards:
26:21And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:22And for the sides of the tabernacle westward thou shalt make six boards.
26:23And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
26:24And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
26:25And they shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
26:26And thou shalt make bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
