DAY 14

EXODUS   +  JOSHUA  +  JOHN  +  ACTS
Exodus Chapter 14

14:1And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying,

14:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

14:3
For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

14:4
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am Yahweh. And they did so.

14:5
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

14:6
And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

14:7
And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

14:8
And Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

14:9
But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

14:10
And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto Yahweh.

14:11
And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

14:12
Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14:14
Yahweh shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

14:15
And Yahweh said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

14:16
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

14:17
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:18
And the Egyptians shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:19
And the angel of Elohim, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

14:20
And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

14:21
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Yahweh caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

14:22
And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:23
And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

14:24
And it came to pass, that in the morning watch Yahweh looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

14:25
And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for Yahweh fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

14:26
And Yahweh said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

14:27
And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and Yahweh overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

14:28
And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

14:29
But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:30
Thus Yahweh saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

14:31
And Israel saw that great work which Yahweh did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared Yahweh, and believed Yahweh, and his servant Moses.

Joshua Chapter 14

14:1
And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

14:2
By lot was their inheritance, as Yahweh commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half tribe.

14:3
For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among them.

14:4
For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.

14:5
As Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did, and they divided the land.

14:6
Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that Yahweh said unto Moses the man of Elohim concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea.

14:7
Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of Yahweh sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.

14:8
Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed Yahweh my Elohim.

14:9
And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed Yahweh my Elohim.

14:10
And now, behold, Yahweh hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since Yahweh spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

14:11
As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

14:12
Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof Yahweh spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be Yahweh will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as Yahweh said.

14:13
And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.

14:14
Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed Yahweh Elohim of Israel.

14:15
And the name of Hebron before was Kirjatharba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.

John  Chapter 14

14:1
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Yahweh, believe also in me.

14:2
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

14:4
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

14:5
Thomas saith unto him, Master, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

14:6
Yahshua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

14:7
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

14:8
Philip saith unto him, Master, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

14:9
Yahshua saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

14:10
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

14:11
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

14:18
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

14:19
Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

14:20
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

14:22
Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Master, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

14:23
Yahshua answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

14:24
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

14:25
These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

14:29
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

14:30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

14:31
But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Acts  Chapter 14

14:1And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

14:2
But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.

14:3
Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in Yahweh, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

14:4
But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.

14:5
And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,

14:6
They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

14:7
And there they preached the good news.

14:8
And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:

14:9
The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

14:10
Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

14:11
And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The mighty ones are come down to us in the likeness of men.

14:12
And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

14:13
Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

14:14
Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

14:15
And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living Elohim, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

14:16
Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

14:17
Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

14:18
And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

14:19
And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

14:20
Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

14:21
And when they had preached the good news to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Yahweh.

14:23
And when they had ordained them elders in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to Yahweh, on whom they believed.

14:24
And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.

14:25
And when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down into Attalia:

14:26
And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of Elohim for the work which they fulfilled.

14:27
And when they were come, and had gathered the assembly together, they rehearsed all that Elohim had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

14:28
And there they abode long time with the disciples.
