Matthew Chapter 23
23:1Then spake Yahshua to the multitude, and to his disciples,
23:2Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
23:3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
23:4For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
23:5But all their works they do for to be seen of men : they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
23:6And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
23:7And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
23:8But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Messiah; and all ye are brethren.
23:9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
23:10Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Messiah.
23:11But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
23:12And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
23:13But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
23:14Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater judgment.
23:15Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of Gehenna than yourselves.
23:16Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
23:17Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
23:18And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
23:19Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
23:20Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
23:21And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
23:22And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of Yahweh, and by him that sitteth thereon.
23:23Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
23:24Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
23:25Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
23:26Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
23:27Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
23:28Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
23:29Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
23:30And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
23:31Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
23:32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
23:33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the judgment of Gehenna?
23:34Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and impale; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
23:35That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
23:36Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
23:37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
23:38Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
23:39For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of Yahweh.

Proverb Chapter 23
23:1When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
23:2And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
23:3Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
23:4Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
23:5Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
23:6Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
23:7For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
23:8The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.
23:9Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.
23:10Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
23:11For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.
23:12Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge.
23:13Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
23:14Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from the grave.
23:15My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
23:16Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.
23:17Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of Yahweh all the day long.
23:18For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
23:19Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
23:20Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
23:21For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
23:22Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.
23:23Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
23:24The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
23:25Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.
23:26My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
23:27For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrow pit.
23:28She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressors among men.
23:29Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
23:30They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
23:31Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
23:32At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
23:33Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
23:34Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
23:35They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.
23:1When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
23:2And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
23:3Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.

Genesis Chapter 35 & 36
35:1And Elohim said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto El, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
35:2Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange mighty ones that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:
35:3And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto El, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
35:4And they gave unto Jacob all the strange mighty ones which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
35:5And they journeyed: and the terror of Elohim was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
35:6So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
35:7And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there Elohim appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
35:8But Deborah Rebekah's nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth.
35:9And Elohim appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.
35:10And Elohim said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
35:11And Elohim said unto him, I am El Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
35:12And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.
35:13And Elohim went up from him in the place where he talked with him.
35:14And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.
35:15And Jacob called the name of the place where Elohim spake with him, Bethel.
35:16And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.
35:17And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.
35:18And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.
35:19And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.
35:20And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.
35:21And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.
35:22And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
35:23The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:
35:24The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:
35:25And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:
35:26And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.
35:27And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.
35:28And the days of Isaac were an hundred and fourscore years.
35:29And Isaac gave up the breath, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

35:12And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

36:1Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
36:2Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

36:7For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
36:8Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
36:9And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:
36:10These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
36:11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
36:12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
36:13And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

36:15These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
36:16Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.
36:17And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife.

36:19These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.
36:20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
36:21And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
36:22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
36:23And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
36:24And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
36:25And the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
36:26And these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

36:30Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.
36:31And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
36:32And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
36:33And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
36:34And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
36:35And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
