 Shalom YAH Family, As I was reflecting on Monday's Bible study on the start of the pagan secular holidays season and all that it entails. I am simply grateful sharing the love of the YAH U family, with being on the Ark, and being equally "yoked" (carrying the Load) together and returning Yahweh Elohim and Yahshua the Messiah's NAME back to the WORLD meaning, WE understand the shared assignment of the "Endtime Gospel of Yahshua the TRUE Messiah", letting the WHOLE WORLD (who has been deceived- Rev. 12:9) KNOW that on June 22nd, 1994. 3:50pm, EST in Savannah, Ga., Servant Emannu'el Branch was 1st DIVINELY visited by Yahweh Elohim with the admonition that "Yahshua IS the TRUE Messiah and the WORLD has to KNOW", hence Yahshua University was Spiritually born! Co-passengers on this voyage with Captain "Emannu'el's Ark of Salvation" as instructed/directed by Yahweh Elohim" and present active students! Servant Emannu'el teaches every year about "Customs of Pagans" from the start of the secular holiday season against following secular traditions of men! I learn something new every year he teaches. YAH Family, including new comers, reading this blog proves that YOU are on the "Ark" at the RIGHT time, at the RIGHT place! There IS NO BETTER PLACE TO BE THAN AT YAHSHUA UNIVERSITY! Class curriculum courses include; Spiritual preparation, spiritual learning, spiritual discerning and to KNOW the actual "Man" ( [NOT the FRANKENSTEIN the WORLD made up] Acts 13:41) sent (John 17:3) to lay down HIS life for the WHOLE WORLD'S sins against Father Yahweh ( WE messed up by having other lovers). Furthermore, Yahweh Elohim doesn't operate in religious practices or traditions of man (classes are NOT canceled bc of it.) bc Yahweh OUR Elohim IS Spirit, they that worship HIM must worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24)! In Mark 7:7-13, Yahshua Messiah states that the traditions of men makes the WORD of Yahweh void, emphasizing that worship/reverence of Elohim condemns those that replace or contradicts HIS commands, even if they are presented as religious practices. The message is about the importance of sincere heartfelt love and worship rather than mere external rituals and traditions. Yahshua Messiah also further condemned the religious leaders (Bishops, Pastors, Evangelist...etc.) for teaching their traditions as doctrines, which cancels out Elohim's WILL and Way. The HYPOCRISY of it all was/is acceptable to 'ignore' the commandment to honor parents by dedicating their wealth to Elohim instead. Moreover, TRUE heartfelt worship according to THIS teaching (YAH U), comes from the heart and involves obedience to Yahweh thru Yahshua Messiah. However, Yahweh WILL NOT accept worship when people take a pagan custom or any manner of worship to try to honor Yahshua Messiah (Xmas) with it. Again, Yahshua Messiah states that "in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matt 15:9). As aforementioned, my reflection or thinking carried me remembering the truth and of the start with the secular Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and any other pagan made up holidays, get out of here with that mess! Observance of said holidays IS a tradition of men. That tradition is precisely what millions of people are doing today! The unrighteous ignores the commandments of Elohim regarding taking the "Customs of Pagans, using them to honor or worship their (sdog=gods). Here at YAH U, WE DO NOT CELEBRATE PAGANS, but WE do enjoy "Fellowship Family Days" since children are out of school for winter break, for those that are off from work and to spend time with others that you wouldn't see otherwise. I praise YAH for freedom of the TRUTH that is only obtain on the Ark! Praise YAH for YOU May Yahweh FREE YOU and BLESS YOU through the Customs of Pagans HalleluYAH

Shalom, Sister Ro-Chelle. Powerful stuff! I see that you have captured the essence on how Yahshua the True Messiah feels about today's secular holidays--nothing but the traditions and commandments of men. So many people are following the world in what Yahshua called "vain worship."

Well said Sister Rochelle! Coming out of the world and standing out is definitely scary but necessary. There is definitely a certain freedom and weight off that comes with relinquishing these pagan holidays. Yahweh and Yahshua more than deserve ALL of our PRAISE! HalleluYah!

We have all been deceived just as the Bible says but the world will keep you believing the lie keeps selling us. Here at YahshuaUniversity.com we learn the truth about all the pagan Holidays. Sister Rochelle, I did not realize how these pagan holidays have taken on a life of their own until I was at Dollar Tree in Ellenwood, Georgia. I had gone to the credit union where my mother was a member to handle some business. I came to Dollar Tree to get some thank you cards for those who sent sympathy cards. In the store were: Halloween cards, Thanksgiving cards, chances are the so-called Christmas cards were near, I just don't recall seeing them. As Gomer Pyle would say, shazaam and golly. I must have been like Rip Van Winkle. When I was in elementary school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter were placed on bulletin boards. Now commercialism has taken it up several notches and placed these themes on greeting cards. To quote Stevie Wonder, "Heaven Help Us All". Around 1983, I started seeing holidays like Halloween become prevalent in the hood. Windows decorated, objects like jack-o-lanterns on lawns. Where did they pick that up? Uh-huh...I thought so...copying after the Gentiles. (Why do Hebrew Israelites pick up "the bad habits" of Gentiles?) They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. However, there is nothing flattering about imitating decadence. As someone once said...go figure! There was something about these pagan holidays which left a gritty taste in my mouth. I did not know about Yahshua University at the time, yet when October 31st came my porch light stayed off, so trick or treaters knew not to stop by. November, the Desoto Hilton in Savannah, Georgia would serve up a feast on Thanksgiving day. All one had to do was call and make a reservation. They had a nice atmosphere, food set out, ice sculpture, someone tickling the ivories on a piano. In later years, I moved to a day of reflection at the apartment. The oven didn't work, so the four burners on the stove along with a hot plate my meals consisted of stove top stuffing and a turkey ham along with a can of cranberry sauce. In December, no tree was ever put up by me. Our family used to have a small silver artificial tree. Through the years and several moves it became gone with the wind. Good riddance! The Mother church (Roman Catholic) had what they called the giving tree. Talk about outrageous, you would pick somebody's name, someone would pick your name and then gift buying starts. I took a pass on this ritual. I don't remember buying a gift or being the recipient of any. Truth be told, those religious leaders you referenced tend to be "misleaders". Servant Emannuel often says they too have been deceived, I wonder when will they ever own up to it. Congregations which follow them are being put "at risk" due to "defective teaching". Perhaps, before Yahweh comes and shuts the hammer down on this world, those church members can file a spiritual mal-practice suit against their misleaders. I am grateful for Yah University and the teachings which come with each voyage. I am glad I did not have to advertise in the newspaper, wanted a non-traditional entity which offers truth as opposed to what organized religion serves up. In answering the ad, all those "Strange Mighty Ones" would have come along like Jezebel's saying, I'm the one you have been looking for" My reply, verily, verily, I say unto thee, ease on down the road, get gone, beat it and take your pagan holidays with you. Once more, Sister Rochelle has done it again with another thought provoking blog. Has to be, look at the length of this reply.
