DAY 27
EXODUS + JOSHUA + JOHN + ACTS
Acts Chapter 27
27:1And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.
27:2And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
27:3And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.
27:4And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
27:5And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.
27:6And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.
27:7And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;
27:8And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.
27:9Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,
27:10And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
27:11Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.
27:12And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.
27:13And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.
27:14But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
27:15And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.
27:16And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
27:17Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.
27:18And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;
27:19And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
27:20And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
27:21But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
27:22And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
27:23For there stood by me this night the angel of Elohim, whose I am, and whom I serve.
27:24Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, Elohim hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
27:25Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe Elohim, that it shall be even as it was told me.
27:26Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
27:27But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;
27:28And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.
27:29Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
27:30And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
27:31Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
27:32Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
27:33And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
27:34Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
27:35And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to Elohim in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.
27:36Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.
27:37And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
27:38And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
27:39And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
27:40And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
27:41And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
27:42And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
27:43But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
27:44And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
27:1And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.

Exodus Chapter 33
33:1And Yahweh said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
33:2And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
33:3Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
33:4And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
33:5For Yahweh had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
33:6And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
33:7And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought Yahweh went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
33:8And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
33:9And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and Yahweh talked with Moses.
33:10And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
33:11And Yahweh spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
33:12And Moses said unto Yahweh, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
33:13Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
33:14And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
33:15And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
33:16For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
33:17And Yahweh said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
33:18And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
33:19And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of Yahweh before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
33:20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
33:21And Yahweh said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
33:22And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
33:23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

33:17And Yahweh said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

33:23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
Exodus Chapter 34
34:1And Yahweh said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
34:2And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me in the top of the mount.
34:3And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
34:4And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
34:5And Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahweh.
34:6And Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, Yahweh, Yahweh El, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
34:7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
34:8And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
34:9And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Yahweh, let Yahweh, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
34:10And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of Yahweh: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
34:11Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
34:12Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
34:13But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
34:14For thou shalt worship no other el: for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous El:
34:15Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their mighty ones, and do sacrifice unto their mighty ones, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
34:16And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their mighty ones, and make thy sons go a whoring after their mighty ones.
34:17Thou shalt make thee no molten mighty ones.
34:18The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.
34:19All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
34:20But the firstling of a donkey thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
34:21Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
34:22And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
34:23Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Sovereign Yahweh, the Elohim of Israel.
34:24For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before Yahweh thy Elohim thrice in the year.
34:25Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
34:26The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of Yahweh thy Elohim. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
34:27And Yahweh said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
34:28And he was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
34:29And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
34:30And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
34:31And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
34:32And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that Yahweh had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
34:33And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
34:34But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
34:35And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
34:1And Yahweh said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.
